Sony has unveiled all of the bonuses players can earn by pre-ordering God of War: Laufey and what comes with the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game. There’s new equipment for Faye, a cosmetic for Phranque, and more.
Pre-orders begin September 29 ahead of its February 16, 2027 release on PS5. Here’s everything players can expect from each option.
God of War: Laufey Pre-Order Bonuses
Players can pre-order God of War: Laufey beginning September 29, 2026 at 10 AM local time.
Sony Santa Monica says players that pre-order any version of the game before release will unlock the following bonuses:
- Last Wish Armor Set
- Phranque Golden Leaves Appearance
- In-game Resource Pack
Bonuses are said to not be available at the beginning of God of War: Laufey. Sony Santa Monica says bonuses will unlock further into the story as players progress.
What Does the Digital Deluxe Edition Include?
Players who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition will unlock several Faye-themed items, along with digital bonuses.
Players will receive:
- Dark Alchemy Armor Set
- Dark Alchemy Blade
- Dark Alchemy Bow Scales
- Dark Alchemy Catalyst
- In-game Resource Pack
- Digital Mini Artbook
- God of War: Laufey Digital Soundtrack
Dark Alchemy Bow Scales also impact gameplay. God of War players can apply Scales to the Serpent Bow that will change both its appearance and reward Faye with a unique perk.
As mentioned above, the Serpent Bow features two aiming styles. Players can fully aim for precise long-range shots or half aim to give Faye more mobility in close-range battles.
Is God of War: Laufey Physical Or Digital?
God of War: Laufey will launch as both a physical and digital product.
Players who choose to pre-order the physical copy will still receive bonuses. However, physical copies provide players with a code to download their bonuses instead of having them available straight on the disc.
Players will need to be connected to the internet along with having a PlayStation account to redeem the code.
