Metacritic users have voted PlayStation-exclusive God of War Ragnarok as their 2022 game of the year. Sony's blockbuster title won 2,580 points, which was more than enough to take the top spot and leave From Software's critically-acclaimed open-world action RPG Elden Ring in second place with 1,788 points.
As expected, no other title managed to get close to God of War: Ragnarok and Elden Ring. Another Sony exclusive Horizon Forbidden West was third on the list with only 588 points while kitty adventure Stray finished fourth, just in front of Nintendo Switch exclusive Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
