Starfield is finally out and if you have been playing this Bethesda RPG and exploring the vast and dangerous planets, chances are that you've picked up a couple of injuries and afflictions that have a negative impact on your character.
You will find these on the radar or under status effects when you open the menu. Some of these negative status effects can be pretty annoying so your character will cough all the time or your health might be lowered so curing them is something that you should be doing as soon as possible.

How to treat injuries and afflictions in Starfield?
It's fairly easy. For every injury, Starfield has a cure and luckily, many items that help you treat afflictions and negative status effects can be found all over the world.
These items are called Bandages, Heal Paste, Snake Oil and so on and you can get them at specific shops, various vendors and vending machines in settlements and cities. Additionally, you can find these as loot in dungeons, buildings, rooms outposts, and more places that you'll visit as you explore the galaxy. Here's how they look:
There's a good chance that you have some of that in your inventory right now so go to the Aid category where you can find items that help you increase health and treat various wounds.
Starfield also has a skill that increases the chance of recovering from infections naturally. The skill is called Decontamination and it can be found under the Physical tab.
