New rumours are once again claiming that Starfield‘s forthcoming expansion and heavily-rumored PlayStation 5 version could be unveiled soon. Via renowned insider Shinobi602, hopes have been reignited for Bethesda’s space RPG.
Shinobi detailed that the game’s next chapter won’t be left waiting much longer. Amidst rampant speculation of a massive update, hype is beginning to build. As always, this has yet to be confirmed. But Shinobi has a reliable history, so this new piece of news is difficult to dismiss.
Insider Suggests Starfield News Is Coming Soon
Shinobi602 dropped the info while posting on a forum where they said that Bethesda will reveal new information regarding Starfield’s upcoming update sometime in March of 2026.
Shinobi602 has a history of being pretty accurate with their information regarding PS exclusive news and large third-party games. So it’s possible that fans could see this fall during one of the many rumoured showcases or straight from the publisher. The leak also checks with recent rumors that have Starfields PS5 port releasing sometime in April.
Rumoured PS5 Port and ‘Starfield 2.0’ Update Details
Speculation has surrounded Starfield and the possibility of the game launching on additional platforms since day one. Interest piqued when it was revealed that a port for the PlayStation 5 was in development.
