PUBG: Black Budget is finally here, and soon enough you will get to playtest the upcoming extraction shooter for the first time. A closed alpha will open up for a select group of players on two weekends in December, but with access limited and the alpha only available in certain regions, you'll need to get in early. 

This means that you will have to pay attention and act fast when the sign-up process opens on Steam. PUBG: Black Budget Closed Alpha Test Dates Revealed

The Closed alpha test for PUBG: Black Budget has two set weekends beginning from mid-December. Below are the starting and end dates for each weekend.

Weekend 1

  • Start: Friday, 12 December – 1:00 AM PT
  • End: Sunday, 14 December – 23:59 PT

Weekend 2

  • Start: Friday, 19 December – 1:00 AM PT
  • End: Sunday 21 December – 23:59 PT

Servers will be shut down in between the two weekends.

How to Sign Up for the PUBG: Black Budget Closed Alpha

The registration process is available only on Steam, so keep reading to know how to request a key. Note that requesting access does not automatically mean you will receive a key but it is a simple and quick process, which requires a Steam account. 

How to Request Access

  • Go to the PUBG: Black Budget Steam page.
  • Log into your Steam account.
  • Click the Request Access button.
  • Click on the Continue in the pop-up window.
  • Wait for an email confirmation on Steam that your request was successful.

Other ways to get a key

A limited amount of keys will also be distributed during the alpha weekends through:

  • Twitch Drops
  • Chzzk Drops

Keys from both sources should not be expected to last very long, so players will want to redeem them as soon as the streams go live.
