PUBG's Continental Series 5 will kick off on September 16. The event will first be held in the Americas and APAC, but then migrate to Europe and Asia.
Another PCS is upon us. PUBG Continental Series 5 will see players fighting for points, trying to score a ticket to the PUBG Global Championship (happening later this year).
PCS5 regions and schedule
PUBG Continental Series 5 will be held in four regions, the matches will begin on September 16 for the Americas and APAC. These will be followed by Europe and Asia starting on September 18:
- Asia – Korea, Japan, China, and Chinese Taipei
- Asia Pacific – Southeast Asia and Oceania
- Americas - North America and Latin America
- Europe - Europe, Middle East, and Africa

There will be a total of 36 matches per region, which boils down to six matches per day.

PCS5 prize pool
PUBG Continental Series 5 boasts a chunky prize pool that starts at 1 million USD. Dr Evil's ransom will be evenly split across the four participating regions. Additionally, 30 per cent of all PCS5 item sales will be diverted into the prize pool as well.
The breakdown
- Each region starts with a base prize pool of 250,000 USD.
- 30 per cent of PUBG's net sales of PCS5 items will be shared directly with participating teams.
Prize Pool
- Basic Prize : $230,000
- Week 1: $60,000
- Week 2: $70,000
- Week 3: $100,000
- Special Prizes: $20,000
Kill Leader ($5,000)
- Prize granted to the player with the most kills.
- Distributed evenly in the case of a tie.
All-PCS team ($10,000)
- Going to the 4 best performing players in the Series.
Insane Squad ($5,000)
- Prize granted to the team which showed the most impressive moment in the Series.
- The winner of the Special prize will be carefully chosen by the selection group.
