Today we got the official PC system requirements for the upcoming souls-like RPG Lords of the Fallen, which is hitting the shelves in a couple of months. Developer Hexworks revealed the specs on Steam, confirming the required hardware for 720p and 1080p resolution as well as low and high-quality settings.
Sadly, we did not get the specs for higher resolutions and quality settings like 1440p, 4K and ultra preset. It is very likely that these will be coming closer to launch, as developers are still optimising the game and probably don't have the specs locked in for the enthusiast experience.
You'll notice that SSD is pretty much mandatory if you're looking to play the game on high-quality settings. Yes, the game will run on HDD but only on low resolution and quality preset. Lords of the Fallen is an Unreal Engine 5 game that features both Lumen and Nanite technologies so it's not surprising to see the SSD requirement.
