Xbox Game Pass is really treating us well these days because a lot of very attractive titles are surfacing on this popular subscription. We recently got some very interesting, highly acclaimed titles on Xbox Game Pass, like Tomb Raider, Shadow of the Tomb Rider, Control, and Diablo 4, and now it is rumoured that very soon we might be getting the last year's Souls-like title, Lords of the Fallen.
This information surfaced on a very well-informed X (former Twitter) account, Klobrille, the one that closely follows everything connected to Xbox, and all their rumours proved to be true up until now, so there's no reason to believe that this one will be an exception.
According to their claims, apart from Lords of the Fallen, we will be getting Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts 2 as well. Given that those two games share the same developer, CI Games, these claims gain additional authenticity when these circumstances are taken into account.
Lords of the Fallen came out in October 2023 but didn't get a very good reception from fans of the Souls-like genre at the time. Of course, we knew better and gave the game a very high score in our review.
However, the game did have some problems on launch; we cannot deny that, but through constant updates, including the final one released just a week ago, it has grown to be one of the best games in its genre.
Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts 2, on the other hand, is the fifth and latest installment in the series that was released back in 2021. This game strays a bit from the formula of the previous games, which wasn't accepted very well from the fans of the franchise.
In September 2023, the game was given away as a gift with a PlayStation Plus subscription, but even that didn't make it any more popular or attractive to the players. Will it change once, and if it becomes available on Game Pass, it remains to be seen.
