A new entry in Guerrilla Games' Horizon series has gone wild, but this time, in a way, it's gone just a bit goofy. In development courtesy of Studio Gobo, LEGO Horizon Adventures will cast a decidedly more irreverent tint upon the cherished franchise.
According to all the information available so far, it was due to be released at some point during the Holiday period of 2024.
The community has lately been most aware of the date when it appeared on an information post on the official PlayStation website - one that listed November 14 as the release date. Like many new developments, that listing didn't exist long before it was yanked down again.
Beyond this development, it now seems possible Sony may have leaked the date ahead of any actual announcement being made. In the meantime, most fans are currently waiting to hear more from Sony on this subject.
LEGO Horizon Adventures is coming to Nintendo Switch, PS5, and PC. The difference with this title, of course, is that it isn't trying to be dark like Horizon Zero Dawn or its upcoming sequel, Forbidden West. In fact, it's noticeably more family-friendly, checking back to the original game in the series, but taking out those more intense elements to ensure it can achieve appeal across the masses.
Players will experience seven to eight hours of great gameplay, with the provision to play cooperatively both locally and online. The PS5 version of the game is set to take advantage of the power of the console by supporting features, including ray tracing and Performance and Fidelity modes.
And now that an official announcement may be around the corner, it really does seem that LEGO Horizon Adventures is aimed at coming out on November 14. Stay in touch with further updates as the release date progresses.
