As the current Season 14 is ongoing in League of Legends, Ranked Split 2 is about to end, and many players are just waiting for Split 3. Well, here's what you should know about the date from which it'll start and what happens in the ranked ladder once this happens.
Competitive is one of the most competitive and entertaining modes in League of Legends, where players build up and manage various tiers by winning points based on the outcomes of matches.
During Season 14, Riot Games brought back three ranked splits within a season, thus giving players more opportunity to achieve their desired rank goal. Riot moved to a system where there are only two splits in a season, with a soft rank reset after each one in Season 13 of the ranked system.
Those who participate in these splits are also rewarded with exclusive rewards, including the highly popular Victorious skins. Even the players within the very lowest rank can attain these after enough games are played.
Now, in the return to three ranked splits for Season 14, players will have an extended window to improve their rank, secure place rewards, and even a cosmetic for cosmetic completionists.
From when does Split 3 start? The third and final split will start right on the heels of Split 2. With Split 2 ending on September 24, 2024, Split 3 then starts on September 25, 2024, arriving with Patch 14.19.
