K'Sante is, to be frank, also a nightmare to balance, being among the most challenging League of Legends champions to get right. One important mini-rework from Riot Games is on the cards for Patch 14.19.
K'Sante has been something of a League of Legends talking point for the last few years he has defied logic - dealing more damage and surviving longer than other champions, frustrating opponents at almost every tier of play.
Key alterations in the K'Sante Mini-Rework
K'Sante has his base stats modified, along with most of his abilities, including Q-Ntofo Strikes, W-Path Maker, and R-All Out. His attack range is also reduced in exchange for slightly raising his attack speed ratio.
Some of the changing scaling with AD on those parts paves the way for leaning more into bonus resistances.
Below is a highlight of major changes:
- Passive- Dauntless Instinct: Will lose the bonus attack range and true damage conversion, but for every "All Out," damage will increase based on the target's maximum health.
- Q – Ntofo Strikes: Bonus base damage increased; bonus AD scaling reduced. Hitbox width has been reduced; cooldown is now partially affected by resistances.
- W - Path Maker: Minimum charge time reduced, base damage slightly increased Removed bonus resistance scaling instead; "All Out" receives a true damage component.
- E (Footwork): Dash speed is dropped substantially and there's less freedom for him to go over terrains now.
- R - All Out: Changes from magical damage to physical damage, adjusts scaling, grants bonus stats, and increases omnivamp.
This mini K'Sante rework is expected to go live with Patch 14.19, scheduled to be released on September 25, 2024.
These changes are designed to pull K'Sante's power in earlier but not outright gut his playstyle, with a focus towards early-game tankiness while scaling into the lategame.
