Just this morning, Riot Games unveiled the spectacular new skin for Samira, Masque of the Black Rose, which will come at the beginning of next year, along with the Noxus-themed updates for League of Legends Season 2025.
As we already said, Noxus will be the connecting point through this new season, ranging from a reimagined Summoner's Rift to thematic items and boots, even a battle pass. The champions connected in this season, such as Mel Medarda, will also be connected with Noxus.
The first run of skins, however, comes in a Noxus theme-one which pulls deeply from the lore behind the Black Rose. A skin to complete that roster will be included on the future battle pass, that for Masque of the Black Rose Samira.

This new skin is a great addition to Samira's collection and a highlight of the battle pass. Samira does have an ultimate skin, but it was somewhat divisive due to the price.
For those looking for a strong alternative, Masque of the Black Rose might be the perfect choice.
Pricing details
The skin will only be available through the paid battle pass, which means players must buy the pass and grind up to a certain tier to unlock it. For now, Riot hasn't disclosed the price of the battle pass or the tier this skin will fall on.
Release date
The Masque of the Black Rose skin line joins with Samira's release with Patch 25.S1.1 early in January. This could be a great addition to your collection if you are a fan of Samira or the Black Rose lore.
