Crime Boss: Rockay City has launched on PC, PlayStation and Xbox platforms and it is ready to take you on an adventure in a digital totally-not-Miami as you attempt to rise to the top of the crime world. It's almost as if we heard this plot before.
While not exactly GTA Vice City , this game has a few throwbacks and references more to both the '80s movies that inspired it and some of the star-studded case.
Players will assume the role of the protagonist played by Michael Madsen while Michael Rooker, Kim Basinger, Danny Glover, Vanilla Ice and more stars will join the fray.
One of the adversaries players will face is Sheriff Norris. Yes, that Norris.
While his voice lines will not win any voice acting awards, the devs leaned into the memes and jokes about Chuck Norris just enough to make the painfully bad delivery bearable.
The game is a live service so expect future updates but also a rocky launch. After all, when was the last time a live service had a smooth release?
Crime Boss: Rockay City will set you back $39.99 at the normal price but it is available at a 15 per cent discount until April 4, 2023.
