Modern Warfare 4 has introduced six Story Missions into its DMZ mode. These will allow you to complete more objectives than just Free Roam, Side Ops and Dynamic Ops. Once completed you'll be rewarded with certain items.
You will be able to complete the first three story missions right away. After which the fourth and fifth will become available. Complete those and you'll unlock the last Story Mission.
These missions will give you rewards of money and gear, some may even drop keys or vehicles. They're all worth completing.
There are six Story Missions currently in the game here are their rewards:
Story Mission - Operation Critical Extraction
- Reward: Mirae Electrical Room Key, Defibrillator and $25k Cash
Story Mission - Operation Silent Ledger
- Reward: Gold Bar, Counting Room Vault Key, Polaris Dagor A1 and $25k Cash
Story Mission - Operation Shopping Hacks
- Reward: Coin Mining Den Key, Night Vision Goggles and $25k Cash
Story Mission - Operation Iron Citadel
- Reward: Supreme Leader's Bunker Access Card, LTV and $25k Cash
Story Mission - Operation Grid Assault
- Reward: Roze's Highrise Armory Key, Helicopter and $25k Cash
Story Mission - Operation Fallen Ember
- Reward: Reactor DRC Locker Key, Cargo Plane and $25k Cash
As mentioned above you can complete these missions multiple times and get the rewards again. You won't get extra vehicles if you already unlocked a DMZ Insertion vehicle from a previous story mission.
Will we see more Story Missions?
It's possible Infinity Ward could add more Story Missions when they update the game with new seasons. We can't say for sure at this time.
Season 1 of Modern Warfare 4 begins November 4th. New challenges, Multiplayer maps and DMZ content will be added. Will we see more Story Missions then? We'll have to wait and see.
These Story Missions leave off with a big cliff hanger so there is definitely room for more to be added. For now we have six to enjoy.
