Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons' third beta will start on October 26 and showcase the final three Elite Specializations. One final beta will take place in November.
Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons' third beta will kick off on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, and come to a close on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Players can look forward to getting a glimpse of the final three new Elite Specializations that will land with the game's upcoming expansion, scheduled for release in February 2022.
Each new Elite Specialization will provide a fresh perspective on each of the core professions while opening up new gameplay possibilities with new skills and abilities. Mark your calendars for a detailed gameplay showcase of the beta which will be broadcast on the Guild Wars 2 official Twitch channel on Friday, October 22 at 19:00 GMT (12 PM PT).
Engineer - Mechanist
A dynamic innovator, using their mechanical expertise and advanced Canthan technology to dive into battle with its jade mech. Players can influence the mech's traits by selecting different specialization attributes.
The mechanist can specialize in various combat roles, they gain access to the mace as their new main weapon and unlock various Signet skills that affect the course of battle in different ways.
Thief - Specter
A spin on the Assassin from the original game, the Specter employs the Shadow Force to deal damage to foes and heal allies. Steal will be replaced by Siphon and the Specter will get a fresh weapon set with a scepter and new dual attacks based on the available off-hand weapons
Ranger - Untamed
The melee brawler profession will get a new ability called "Unleashed" which has the power to pass nature magic between the untamed and their pet. Pets in this new state get new abilities.
The Unleashed state also has some effects on the hammers wielded by the Untamed. The new Ranger will get access to the cantrip skill type. These cantrips create various defensive and crowd-control effects.
Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons will have one final beta event in November. The imminent beta will feature all nine professions and the first hands-on experience with the siege turtle.
