Archetype Entertainment is showcasing stealth gameplay for Exodus ahead of a Summer gameplay reveal

Exodus showcases new stealth gameplay, including silent takedowns, suppressed weapons, and sneaky traversal ahead of its Summer reveal.

Developer Archetype Entertainment is slowly but surely continuing to show off Exodus' gameplay before a big Summer gameplay showcase, and this latest tease focuses on stealth.

These teases have been small glimpses so far, but each showcase different facets of gameplay that all seem to point towards Exodus being able to play however players want.

Previous gameplay teased included traversal as well as the world design itself, while this newest gameplay focuses more on approaching engagements without being spotted.

It feels like a stark contrast from before, but stealth clearly appears to be as strong of an option as shooting everything in sight. Jun can be seen weaving through patrols of robots as he goes after a target silently. Players are able to keep crouched to avoid being seen while also utilizing objects in the world as solid cover.

Enemies also don’t appear to be the smartest cookies in the jar, only realizing you’re there if you give yourself away. Couple that with stealth kills that can be done up close as shown off in the video above, and players should be able to handle most situations silently.

This goes double when you factor in suppressed weapons, which open up a ranged option should players choose that style of takedown. Even the environment itself can be used to plan out your next move or engagement.

This likely plays into the level design of the game itself, which has also been shown previously. Hopefully we can see these aspects of gameplay combined more when a longer look at Exodus gameplay is shown later this Summer. For now, Exodus is set for release in 2027.
