Well, it finally happened. After months and even years of speculation, Rockstar Games have confirmed that their original western Red Dead Redemption 1 is coming to PC later this month on October 29, 2024.
The game will also include the iconic zombie DLC Undead Nightmares. The port was developed in collaboration with the well-known support studio Double Eleven and it will introduce a whole slate of PC-specific features.

Does Red Dead Redemption 1 support DLSS and FSR on PC?
Yes. Red Dead Redemption 1 will support both Nvidia DLSS version 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling technologies. On top of this, players on PC will get Nvidia Frame Generation to boost those frame rates even higher.
Is there ray-tracing in Red Dead Redemption 1 on PC?
Unfortunately no. Red Dead Redemption 1 won't have ray tracing on PC but you can bet that modders will do their best to improve the game in various ways, which may also include a mod for ray-tracing. It certainly wouldn't be the first time that happened.
Red Dead Redemption 1 HDR, 4K and other PC enhancements
Rockstar Games confirmed that the Red Dead Redemption 1 PC port will support HDR10 and both Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9) monitors. In addition, players can look forward to 4K resolution and up to 144Hz if they have compatible hardware.
The publisher also promise full keyboard and mouse functionality as well as adjustable draw distance, shadow quality settings and much more.
