Rumours about Red Dead Redemption Remaster simply won't go away. First, we got a new rating on the Korean Game Rating Committee, which usually means some kind of re-release is on the way, and shortly after that, host of the Sacred Symbols podcast Colin Moriarty stated that Red Dead Redemption remaster/remake is real and could even be announced in August.
Today, we have a new potential clue that suggests Rockstar Games are indeed preparing an announcement of Red Dead Redemption Remaster. The official website of the publisher was updated today to add a new version of the Red Dead Redemption logo.
The new logo is codenamed RDR1RSP which according to the fans' speculation means Red Dead Redemption 1 Remaster Single Player. The new version of the logo also includes the title "Rockstar Games Presents" as you can see in the image above.
Now, could this be connected to Red Dead Redemption Remaster? Sure, it's possible and we'd love it if this was the case. However, as always with these things and rumours and leaks, don't get your hopes up just yet, until we get more concrete evidence or an official announcement that the remaster of this beloved action-adventure is indeed happening.
There's a chance that this is just some random logo update so take everything with a grain of salt.
Rockstar have previously stated that they plan to release several groundbreaking titles by early 2025 that will set a new industry standard and rake in over $8 billion in Net Bookings. One of these games is certainly Grand Theft Auto 6, which is currently in development, while the other could be the remaster of their classic western. Fingers crossed.
Red Dead Redemption 1 Remaster should be coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
