During their latest earnings report, EA shared a couple more details about the Battlefield franchise and the next big instalment currently being developed at DICE and other Battlefield support studios like Ripple Effect and Motive.
EA said that the next Battlefield game will be one of their most ambitious projects ever with the very best team behind it that aims to deliver an epic Battlefield game.
"This is not just one of our top priorities, it is also one of the most ambitious projects in our history. We have brought together the very best team coupled with the resources and technology they need to deliver an epic Battlefield experience," EA said.

Obviously, this is something we hear every single time when a new Battlefield is about to be announced as EA loves to hype up their games with all these marketing buzzwords.
Hopefully, the next Battlefield game doesn't disappoint like its predecessor Battlefield 2042, which was a total mess on launch. Since then, the situation got a bit better so the game is now a solid shooter but definitely still nowhere near close to the popularity of Call of Duty games.
EA did say that the franchise has surpassed 25 million players over the last twelve months which could be a signal that players are slowly returning to the Battlefield series.
EA did not say much about their plans for the reveal of Battlefield but if I had to guess, I'd say that the announcement could be coming later this year, depending on when the game is scheduled to launch.
EA CEO Andrew Wilson previously stated that the next Battlefield will be a tremendous live service game so expect plenty of post-launch content and in-game purchases in the true spirit of live service games.
