Well, it is time to get disappointed in Destiny 2 one more time. If you are wondering how many times it is now, we have lost count at this point.

Bungie pulled a sneaky one on Destiny 2 players once again and this one has to do with the seasonal armour ornament sets.

It was previously announced that the sets would be inspired by some of the biggest franchises among the PlayStation exclusives, such as God of War, Horizon, Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us.

As the season rolled out, it became apparent that these ornaments will only be sold for premium currency and can't be obtained through gameplay alone.

Needless to say, this disappointed countless fans, who showed they would be understanding if only the PlayStation ornaments were supposed to be premium currency exclusive.

However, there is no other ornament set in the microtransaction store and the ever-watchful Eververse Calendar confirms that the cosmetics are not among the Bright Dust offerings in Season 21.

To add insult to injury, the game is still using reskinned weapon models from previous seasons and expansions for the vast majority of rewards from the regular activities, meaning that Bungie didn't have much to be overwhelmed with, which could potentially cause a weak Eververse showing.

In the end, more cynical Guardians weren't even surprised and are expecting more such treatment in the future.
