Now, with the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 gearing up for Season 1 on November 14, the developers have shifted their focus to delivering more content for the various game modes.
Treyarch and Activision had previously declared that the immensely popular Classic Nuketown map would be officially available starting November 1.
Now, more details regarding Season 1 content have arrived, and further updates are provided for Warzone, Multiplayer, and Zombies modes.
A new addition coming to Call of Duty: Warzone, one might say quite interesting, will be Area 99 Resurgence. For anyone who has ever wondered how Nuketown's haunted houses and mannequins came to be, this map is all about those stories in new, mysterious ways.
New loadouts, weapons, and Omnimovement mechanics will also carry over from Black Ops 6 into Warzone.
Multiplayer fans won't be left out: Season 1 brings more maps and game modes to keep those matches fresh and exciting. For Zombies players, a brand-new "in-season" map is on its way, too, giving those who enjoy this mode even more to dig into as the season marches along.
More details are to come via the Call of Duty Blog, in which Treyarch will outline exactly what each of these new additions features over the coming days.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is out now on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC. If Season 1 continues to build up steam, then players across all platforms should buckle up for action as this is shaping up to be one of the biggest content drops in a while.
