Fans of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 are hyped for the upcoming Season 5 of the game, and a new teaser trailer for the season seems to confirm the return of one fan-favorite weapon.
The developer Treyarch hasn’t yet confirmed the return of the M249 SAW, but the weapon was unambiguously featured in the video, so it could be a new part of the game either at the start of Season 5 or with a mid-season update.
Activision hasn't announced the release date for Season 5 of the Black Ops 6, but most likely, it will be August 7 following the game’s seasonal schedule.
Marketing for the new update already started, as the company recently released a mysterious teaser for an upcoming crossover with the slasher film I Know What You Did Last Summer.
It’s unknown if the movie collaboration will be a part of Season 5’s content or will come later in the season, but most likely, it will not be released before Season 5 starts.
More content and Double XP Weekend incoming
Activision is also about to hold another Double XP weekend, which is set to start on Friday, July 25, and will likely last until Monday, July 28.
Players have one last weekend to finish up their Season 4 Battle Passes, and while there hasn’t been a Double Battle Pass XP announced for the update, it will most likely be added in.Season 5 is coming up, and there are sure to be more teasers for it.
As usual, the full patch notes will likely be released days before the update launches.
