Capcom’s latest survival horror installment is nearly upon us. Resident Evil Requiem is days away from its global launch, and those who preordered on PC can already start pre-downloading the game.
Keep in mind release times will differ depending on your platform and location. Some users will be able to access the game sooner due to timezone offsets, while others will have to wait for everyone to receive access simultaneously.
Since PC and consoles have different release dates, you might want to avoid spoilers when they launch in their respective regions.
Global Launch Timings Explained
Launch is set for 9PM PST on February 26 in Los Angeles, but different platforms and countries will release at different times.
- PS5 and Xbox Series X/S players: Midnight local time for most countries.
- PC players outside North America: Players will unlock at PST midnight instead.
- Nintendo Switch 2 owners in Mexico City will be able to play starting February 26 at 11PM CST.
- Nintendo Switch 2 owners in Sao Paulo will be able to play starting February 27 at 2AM BRT.
That means some players on consoles outside of North America will have access before their counterparts on PC.
Spoilers are nearly unavoidable with areas unlocking at different times, just know that once the first wave unlocks it’s going to start happening. If you plan on going into the revival of Raccoon City blind consider muting some keywords or taking a social media hiatus until you’ve had your fill.
Available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2 at launch, Resident Evil Requiem is another impressive multiplatform entry from Capcom’s zombie slaughter franchise.
