Up until Operation Burnt Horizon, Ubisoft had been introducing a brand new map into Rainbow Six Siege with every operator duo (Border for Valkyrie and Blackbeard, Villa for Alibi and Maestro and so on).
Currently, the game has a total of 24 playable maps in both the casual and ranked game modes. The map Bartlet University has been completely removed from the game due to the controversy it might spark. Additionally, the map Hereford Base has also been removed from all game modes aside from the situations the players can play for 200 renown rewards.
