Behaviour has made many partnerships with different franchises in order to attract as many fandoms as they can. From Resident Evil and Silent Hill to Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween.
But one franchise that gained the highest popularity is Stranger Things. Netflix managed to make a deal with the developers of Dead by Daylight and get two characters of their hit series into the game along with a killer and map inspired by the show.
About a year ago, in November of 2021, Behaviour has announced that the Stranger Things chapter will no longer be available for purchase (as a DLC or in-game content) and all skins and characters along with the map will permanently be getting removed.
This came as a shock to the fan base and everyone was quick to purchase the characters while they were still available.
Now, a year later, Netflix has taken to Twitter to announce that something huge is coming and many were quick to assume that it might be giving the Dead by Daylight community its characters back.
Sadly, this is not the case and the big announcement was merely the introduction of a new season for the show and the title of the first episode.
The Dead by Daylight community is left with questions as to whether or not the Stranger Things chapter will ever be back and everything is pointing towards a very disappointing no.
The main reason for the termination of the deal between Netflix and Behaviour on the matter of Stranger Things is the upcoming standalone game Netflix has planned for Stranger Things in the future.
