Warner Bros.' long-awaited two-player co-op game, Gotham Knights, has finally been released with a set of four playable heroes. The heroes in question are Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin and Redhood.
We have compiled a tier list that will concisely introduce each hero and their skill trees along with their play style. They will be ordered in ascending order as we move through the ranking.
4. ROBIN
While Robin's abilities and skill trees revolve around his stealth and decoys, his abilities overall seem very generic. The Slugger skill tree buffs his decoys and elemental damage, Shadow buffs his stealth and sneaking abilities, and Tinker buffs his buildup abilities as well as debuffs enemy resistance.
The only exciting thing about Robin is his Knighthood ability which allows him to teleport over short distances for a period of 7 to 10 seconds.
3. NIGHTWING
Nightwing is the agile and jumpy leader of the pack whose abilities enable him to charge his power bar relatively quickly. His Raptor skill tree increases his damage boost and his Acrobat skill tree enables him to chain his attacks and create a nice momentum that is hard to break.
The Pack Leader skill tree focuses on buffing team abilities and ranged weapons and has shown to be very useful in a multiplayer setting. His special ability creates an AOE on the ground that heals, increases defences and damages enemies that enter it. While this setup might be good for winning fights, it still feels as bland as Robin's kit.
2. REDHOOD
Redhood's build revolves around his strength. While he is equipped with two ranged pistols, they are nowhere near as potent as his mystical powers. His Marksman skill tree buffs his precision and range, and the Brawler skill tree buffs his grapple and throws.
The Vengeance skill tree buffs his pistols while his Knighthood buffs his mystical rounds which are great for dealing with large groups of enemies.

Redhood's form of "transportation" is the Mystical Leap, magical platforms that form under his feet as he jumps from building to building (This is why he is better than Nightwing).
1. BATGIRL
Batgirl feels like the only hero who can play different roles based on what the player wants to achieve. Her skill trees give her the ability to either become a DPS beast, a sustain-heavy tank or a tactical hacker.
Her Justice skill tree upgrades her melee attack and critical hit chances while her Grit skill tree increases her overall hp and makes it restorable. If that wasn't enough, it also grants her a self-revive.
The Oracle skill tree allows her to go unnoticeable and allows her to disable enemy gadgets. Lastly, her knighthood unlocks her glide ability and gives her a grapple that brings enemies closer to her.
