Mythical Wood is available only on the World Tree map in Palworld 1.0. To unlock the World Tree, you will need to defeat Panthalus and then take him with you to unlock the barrier.

The process of farming Mythical Wood is very different from other ores and resources in the game. For all resources in the world tree portion of the game, you will need to be under the effect of World Tree holy water.
If you approach the Mythical Wood without using holy water, it disappears temporarily. To solve this problem, you can either drink holy water or use a Pal with World Tree passive in your party and alongside you while farming the wood.
The best tool for farming Mythical Wood is the plasma multicutter. You will be able to farm through the resources in no time with this tool.
A word of caution for any players entering the world tree for the first time, make sure to take your best flying mount and fighting pals. The Pals roaming around different biomes in the map are extremely dangerous and they'll one shot you and your party.
