As many players are slowly moving to endgame content through progression, they'll come face to face with Ancient Lava for crafting mobility items. Here's how you can find Ancient Lava in Palworld 1.0.
Why Do You Need Ancient Lava in Palworld 1.0?
Palworld 1.0 is full of mobility items that make your movement faster or combat smoother. You will need Ancient Bones, Nightstar Sand, and Ancient Lava to craft these items. Here's a look at every item that requires Ancient Lava for crafting:
- Air Walker EX
- Air Walker MK III
How to Find Ancient Lava in Palworld 1.0
Unlike most items that can be produced, mined, or crafted in Palworld 1.0. You need to manually farm this material by visiting a certain part of the map.
As of the current Palworld 1.0 patch, Ancient Lava is only available on the Wildlife Sanctuary No. 2, which is located very close to the volcano area. You can fly there from the Isle of Silence fast travel at -543, -29 coordinates, then reach the sanctuary at -675, -116.
You should take a plasma multi-cutter or higher-rarity pickaxe to farm ancient bones. You'll lose a lot of equipment durability when you are farming ancient lava.
A word of caution for visiting sanctuaries on the map: these areas are guarded by high-level aerial drones and stronger Pals roaming around the island. Make sure to go there with high firepower, as you might need to engage in combat.
