As many players are slowly moving to endgame content through progression, they'll come face to face with Ancient Bark for crafting mobility items. Here's how you can find Ancient Bark in Palworld 1.0.
Why Do You Need Ancient Bark in Palworld 1.0?
Palworld 1.0 is full of mobility items that make your movement faster or combat smoother. You will need Ancient Bones, Nightstar Sand, and Ancient Bark to craft these items. Here's a look at every item that requires Ancient Bark for crafting:

How to Find Ancient Bark in Palworld 1.0
Unlike most items that can be produced, mined, or crafted in Palworld 1.0. You need to manually farm this material by visiting a certain part of the map.
As of the current Palworld 1.0 patch, Ancient Bark is only available on the Wildlife Sanctuary No. 1, which is located very close to the desert area. You can fly there from the Sea Breeze Archipelago - Castaway Beach fast travel at 99, -711 coordinates, then reach the sanctuary at 57, -674.
You should take a plasma multi-cutter or higher-rarity pickaxe to farm ancient bark. You'll lose a lot of equipment durability when you are farming ancient barks.
A word of caution for visiting sanctuaries on the map: these areas are guarded by high-level aerial drones and stronger Pals roaming around the island. Make sure to go there with high firepower, as you might need to engage in combat.
