One of the primary quests may be confusing in New World so here is a quick guide on how to get to the desired destination.
New World 's primary quests in Brimstone Sands can get confusing, mostly because the quest marker doesn't describe the altitude of the objective and sometimes because the way to it is on the opposite side of the obvious road you came through.
In the case of The Great Architect where you are on the trail of Imhotep, the latter is true as the journal page you need to read can't be reached from the regular approach to the Acropolis.
Instead, you will need to go to the south of the structure, to the feet of the hill and start climbing the rocks. One good pointer for the exact location is the second "D" letter where it says Deadwater Wastes on the map.

Once you're there, start climbing the hill and when you reach a plateau, turn left to find another set of rocks you can climb next to a wall.
New World
Climb the wall and keep moving towards the objective marker to reach a scaffolding that will allow you to climb further.

Once you're on top of the scaffolding, the journal page should be in your view, at which point you just go and interact with it to progress the quest.
Keep in mind that this is the only way to get to the objective and doing parkour over the walls above the acid pools is not going to get you anywhere.
