In the Souls-like RPG adventure Lies of P by Neowiz Games, threats abound not just from enemies and formidable bosses but also from the treacherous environment itself. If you're not cautious, your character can meet his demise in a matter of minutes.
As you progress through various levels, you'll encounter regions teeming with corruption and decay. Stepping into these areas will promptly afflict your character with a status effect, and lingering in them for an extended period can result in substantial damage.
However, regardless of the pools' locations, there is a method to neutralise them. In this guide, we provide a solution for achieving just that.
How to clear corruption and decay from corruption and decay pools
Upon reaching the third level in the game, known as the Factory, you'll encounter pools filled with corruption right away. Even an optional boss, "Puppet of the Future," can be found in one of these tainted pools. To cleanse the area of corruption, keep an eye out for a nearby lever that can be used to drain the corruption. For more details, consult our boss fight guide for "Puppet of the Future."
Conversely, your initial encounter with decay will take place on the Cathedral level. To eliminate these decay-filled pools, your task is to locate the brazier consistently positioned above them. As you approach the brazier, an interaction prompt will become visible. Just press the designated button, and P will topple the brazier, promptly dispelling all decay.
In specific zones like the Cathedral, ridding these pools of corruption or decay will unlock access to previously inaccessible areas for exploration.
