In this action-adventure RPG with Souls-like elements developed by Neowiz Games, your journey will involve overcoming a final boss within each level, granting you the opportunity to advance to the next stage.
Apart from the primary bosses, many levels feature optional bosses that aren't mandatory to defeat. However, if you choose to take on these optional challenges, the rewards will certainly justify your efforts. One of these optional bosses is the Owl Doctor, located within the Barren Swamp level. Here's a guide to locating and defeating this optional boss.
How to find and defeat Owl Doctor boss in Lies of P
The Owl Doctor awaits just beyond the Barren Swamp Stargazer. Upon teleporting to this specific Stargazer point, step out into a vast open area. Here, you'll encounter two Puppets of the Future on patrol, along with numerous regular puppets. Additionally, be wary of one puppet positioned at an elevated vantage point, constantly launching missiles at you.
Look slightly to the left, and you'll notice wooden scaffolding and structures—your destination lies there. Dash through this zone, evading both enemies and the encroaching corruption, and follow the route leading to these wooden buildings.
Upon entering, you'll confront a few enemies within as well as a ladder leading to the lower level. Climb down the ladder, and you'll find the Owl Doctor in the next room. To initiate the battle, engage in conversation with him.
As the Owl Doctor is a human enemy, the most effective approach involves dodging his attacks and attempting to move behind him for a Fatal Attack. Alternatively, a successful tactic, as we did in our run, is executing the Perfect Block, which is a fancy name Lies of P uses for parry. Achieving two consecutive Perfect Blocks will stagger the boss, leaving him vulnerable to a potent Fatal Attack when struck from the front.
