Lies of P is enriched with difficult bosses, even more difficult mini-bosses, and tearjerking side quests. One optional boss that seems very difficult to beat is the Puppet of the Future, and that is mainly due to the corruption he is surrounded by.

How to beat the Puppet of the Future
The most difficult part of the Puppet of the Future fight is the corruption it sits in, which slowly drains your HP if you are standing in it, so you will want to find a way to get rid of it.
To get rid of the corruption in the arena, you will need to leave the area and go exploring a little bit. Firstly, make your way to the Workshop Union Culvert stargazer.
Once there, turn around, and you will see two sets of ladders. Go to the left one, climb up, and follow the hallway into the room where you can fight the Survivor (If the door is closed, you will need to start from the Venigni Works Control Room). Go through the room and climb the ladder located in the back left corner.
Once there, go forward and pass the staircase, staying on the left-hand side of the room. Eventually, you will come across a staircase that leads downward. From there, you will be able to see the Red Fox and the Black Cat, walk towards them.
While keeping them on your right-hand side, go forward into the hallway until you come across a massive red tube. You will want to go into it.
Once inside the tube, walk towards the dead body, but be aware of the enemies that come along the way. Once you have evaded the enemies, make a left turn, and you will see boxes and scrap piled up at the end. Be careful, because a heavy enemy will jump at you from that scrap.
Once you have evaded the heavy enemy, the level will be located in the area where he jumped from. Pull it, and the corruption will be completely drained, and the Puppet of the Future will be a piece of cake to fight.
