Lies of P introduces many side quests right at the start to give a slightly bigger glimpse of the story to the player. While the Weeping woman will touch the hearts of many players with her demands to see her baby, Toma only wishes to spend some time with his friends one more time.
Toma's quest does not give many indicators as to what the players need to do in order to fulfill Toma's wishes, so this article will guide you through it.
How to complete Toma's Quest
To start Toma's side quest, you must find the window where he can be heard coughing. To locate this window, go to the Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard stargazer, go out to the balcony, and from there pass the two enemies and make your way towards the roof. There you will be met with one more enemy, and behind him will be a ladder.
Go down the ladder, and across from it there will be a lit window, and dim coughs can be heard. You will be prompted to talk to the boy on the other side of the window.
He tells you about his friend Murphy and how he misses him and wishes they could play together again. Most players will be tempted to look for a pet or maybe even a boy standing somewhere on the map.
What Toma is actually looking for is a whistle that can be found in the Scrapped Watchman's arena on a lit bench with engravings in front of it saying "Friends".
Keep in mind that if you started the quest after you beat the Scrapped Watchman, you will be able to start the quest, but the whistle will not spawn in the arena.
Once you have collected the whistle, go back to Toma's window, and you have to interact with the whistle while standing near the window in order to get a reaction from Toma.
The reward for this quest is some Ergo.
