At the conclusion of the Grand Exhibition level, you'll face an exceptionally perilous boss encounter that unfolds in two distinct phases. This guide offers valuable tips to help you navigate this challenging battle and triumph over this extremely formidable adversary.
How to beat Champion Victor
The battle against Champion Victor is divided into two phases, during which his health remains consistent. However, it's worth noting that after he loses half of his health, the boss intensifies his aggression significantly.
To tackle this boss effectively, consider crafting a unique weapon by melding the Slamander Dagger's blade with the Acidic Crystal Spear's handle. This combination results in a slightly extended dagger that boasts swift attack capabilities and inflicts fire damage, a vulnerability this boss is particularly susceptible to.
Maximise your weapon upgrades and gather as many Thermits as possible before engaging in the fight. Once you're prepared, activate the spectre and step into the arena. It's worth noting that all of the boss's attacks can be easily dodged by maintaining a safe distance. While the boss is distracted by the spectre, seize the opportunity to unleash a flurry of rapid strikes that will eventually set him on fire.
Whenever possible, throw Thermite to inflict additional damage on the boss. In the second phase, the boss displays higher aggression, demanding more precise dodges. However, the core strategy remains the same. Furthermore, when the boss prepares to strike with both hands overhead, it's advisable to block this attack and follow up with a rapid sequence of attacks that will damage the boss, even setting him ablaze, while your health will regenerate.
