Joining the Crimson Fleet in Starfield can be broken down into four steps:
1. Becoming a UC Vanguard Operative: Your journey towards becoming a part of the Crimson Fleet begins with joining the UC Vanguard, a faction that values order and security in the cosmos. Upon enlisting with the UC Vanguard, you'll be assigned an undercover mission that requires infiltrating the Crimson Fleet's ranks. This mission serves as the foundation for your subsequent interactions with the Crimson Fleet.
2. Navigating the UC Vanguard Missions: As you immerse yourself in your role as an undercover operative, you'll be tasked with completing the initial UC Vanguard faction missions: "Supra Et Ultra" and "Grunt Work." These missions are seamlessly integrated into your recruitment process and introduce you to the dynamics of the UC Vanguard. Successfully accomplishing these tasks will set the stage for your transition into the Crimson Fleet.
3. Infiltrating the Crimson Fleet: The most important moment arrives when you receive the "Deep Cover" faction mission.
