League of Legends is loading up another ridiculous arsenal of power-ups for ARAM: Mayhem. Five new augments will arrive in Patch 26.21, and Riot Games has taken a few moments to preview their effects, from blasting around on an RPG to momentarily becoming invincible.
The augments have a few desirable outcomes in common. Most offer players new ways to get tons of damage onto enemy champions in aggressive plays, but a couple instead reward players who follow through on risky plays or help save their teammates.
New ARAM: Mayhem Augments Coming in Patch 26.21
Riot Games has already revealed exactly five augments coming in Patch 26.21: Get Jinxed, Brass Blast, Bees!! !, Totentanz, and Salvation. Here’s everything you need to know about each.
Get Jinxed
Get Jinxed slaps your champion onto an RPG-style rocket, which they can then steer around the battlefield. When you crash into an enemy champion, turret, or wall, your rocket explodes.
The damage and other numbers aren’t revealed in the augments’ preview, but players can expect to make plenty of aggressive plays that are just as flashy as they are deadly.
Brass Blast
Brass Blast sends your champion charging around with a huge trumpet. You’ll need to charge up your trumpet before firing it, but once you do go boom. Enemies hit by the blast will take magic damage and be knocked back.
Knockback can be great for otherwise disrupting enemy champions’ positioning. You can even knock enemies away from allies you’re trying to protect.
Bees!!!
Yes, Bees!!! is exactly what it sounds like. Your next ability hit against an enemy champion will be empowered at regular intervals. When that empowered hit connects, a swarm of bees will appear that then explodes.
The specific interval at which Bees!!! will empower your champions attacks hasn’t been revealed, nor have any numbers. We’ll have to wait a little longer to see which champions can make the most out of this augment.
Totentanz
Activating Totentanz causes your champion to blink forward, after which point you can’t be killed for a few seconds. However, you must eliminate a champion within 5 seconds or die when the effect wears off.
You don’t need to secure the killing blow, as assassins. That makes Totentanz pretty risky if you blink into the wilderness, but can lead to some insane picks if an enemy overextends before you use it.
Salvation
Salvation seems made for clutch plays that save your team’s butts. When activated, your champion will damage and knock back enemies around them while healing allies.
Imagine you and your team are getting beat down by the enemy team in a teamfight. Salvation creates some nice breathing room while buying your teammates time to recover.
All five augments are set to arrive in League of Legends with Patch 26.21 on October 21, 20.The damage and other numbers behind each augment should be revealed soon.
