EA Sports FC 27 players can now download Title Update 1.0.4 on supported platforms. This latest patch for the football game doesn’t include any gameplay balance or tuning changes.
Instead, EA are taking care of issues throughout Ultimate Team, The Grounds and Career Mode, as well as a number of general stability and graphical issues.
The first issue fixed was causing players to receive a “Service Unavailable” notification after completing certain FUT matches. Another graphical issue that’s been resolved was related to incorrect holographic effects that were being displayed on base items when opening some Player Picks.
Elsewhere in The Grounds, players will no longer experience a loading screen upon visiting their active club from the Player Profile menu, which forces players to restart the entire game. Finally, EA addressed an issue with the post-match user interface.
Career Mode Changes and Fixes
FC 27’s Career Mode sees some noteworthy changes with Title Update 1.0.4. Manager Career now generates fewer players with extremely high ratings or potential.
Players will also have more realistic transfer negotiations, as offering considerably more than what a club originally asked for will no longer result in an automatic acceptance.
A number of issues have been addressed for Career Mode, such as:
- Not being able to sign Free Agents if the transfer market is disabled or if there isn’t an active transfer window.
- CPU counter offers could exceed the previously requested or already guaranteed transfer fee.
- Experiencing a stability issue when selecting certain teams in Live > Start Points.
- The Liga MX season will now start at the intended time of mid-January, rather than resetting in May.
General Fixes
Title Update 1.0.4 also resolves a number of stability issues. When in FC Lite, players could unintentionally randomise teams when using Kick-Off.
