Respawn’s annual Apex Legends Halloween event is finally here. The Blood Pact event will shroud Kings Canyon in fog, unlock new Wild Cards, and drop squads into a night-themed version of the map.
Between rounds, squads will have to pick between Team Beast and Team Demon. During matches, squads can obtain Wild Cards by dealing damage or knocking enemy players down.
Choose Between Beasts and Demons
Blood Pact will take place in Wildcard, where squads will be able to pledge their loyalty to Team Beast or Team Demon at the start of each round. Squads will be tasked with completing challenges like dealing enough damage or getting enough knocks throughout the round to earn Wild Cards for their chosen team.
Team Beast provides players with Wild Cards that boost movement speed and damage. These power-ups include:
- Sprint with weapons holstered and gain access to Double Jump.
- Reload weapons quicker and deploy Shield Cells at an accelerated rate.
- Get occasional critical shots upon reloading your weapon.
Team Demon’s Wild Cards grant players increased durability and recharge speed:
- Tactical abilities and Ultimate charge more quickly.
- Gain shields at the Epic level.
- Instantly refill all shield strength with Shield Cells.
Haunted Kings Canyon Gets Even Darker
Kings Canyon won’t look familiar for Blood Pact. The map will have patches of fog that periodically appear over the battleground, obscuring squads’ visibility. Fog can be used to squads’ advantage to ambush enemies, though holding a Rev Shell Grenade can help squads find enemies hiding in the fog.
Ghosts will haunt buildings around Kings Canyon, alongside floating Nessies, Haunted Loot Bins, and Pumpkin EVO Orbs.
New Blood Pact Skins
The Blood Pact Store will roll out a series of werewolf and demon-themed cosmetics as part of the event. Sparrow gets a Legend Skin and Character Select Animation featuring her as a werewolf, while Alter unlocks a Legend Skin themed around demons. Alter’s new Legend Skin is paired with a new Blood Pact themed R-99 Skin.
Several Beast and Demon-themed Legend Retheme Bundles will be available for Legends such as Revenant, Octane, Fuse, and Conduit.
Blood Pact runs from October 13 to November 3, 2026.
