Side quests in Dragon's Dogma 2, the newest action RPG developed by Capcom, are very well designed and will pick up your interest each time you decide to take part in any of them.
One of the side quests you will encounter in Checkpoint Rest Town is the one involving Myrddin, a mysterious mage who will refuse to talk to you each time you try to confront him in his house.
If you are curious about how to tackle this quest properly and how to make Myrddin listen to you, we've prepared a guide that will show you the process step-by-step. So, without further ado, let's begin.
How to make Myrddin listen to you (The Sorcerer's Appraisal side quest)
In order for Myrddin to even say a word to you, first you must be dressed for the occasion, meaning he will not talk just to everyone but only respected members of the sorcerer's community, and second you need to be a sorcerer yourself, meaning you must change the vocation if you haven't already.
Start by changing the vocation to sorcerer. It is easily tackled by visiting the guild located inside the village. Once you are a sorcerer, it is time to dress up. He won't let you inside his house if you are not wearing the Courtly outfit (armour and waist). These can easily be found in various houses inside noble quarters in Vernworth. Chances are you already own these items; just check out your inventory or the chest.
Once you have all set up, go to his house, and he will let you in and give you the quest to find and bring him several grimoires, and, as a reward, he'll teach you some magic.
