Among many mechanics in Dragon's Dogma 2, the latest action RPG from Capcom, is the resting mechanic used for restoring lost grey health bar, which cannot be restored on the field, only by resting at camps or by renting rooms in inns, which also requires spending hard-earned gold.
Each resting cycle costs you from 1000 to 3000 gold, depending on where an inn is located, and camps can only be set up at designated locations and by using special camping kits, which, apart from being pretty scarce, are also very heavy and will significantly effect your carrying capacity.

Let's clear something out at the very beginning: using this method will cost you money, but you will spend it only once, and later, you will be able to rest whenever you wish, without additional cost.
As we've mentioned earlier, to rest, you must rent a room inside an inn, and renting is expensive. Wait a bit, and you will have the opportunity to buy your own house, eliminating further need for using any different resting methods. Of course, a house is not cheap and according to the game's economic system, it costs around 200,000 gold. However, the house you will have the opportunity to buy will have a symbolic value of only 20,000 gold.
To get yourself this bargain, you must start the quest called "A Place to Call Home," which is located inside Common Quarters in Vernworth. However, in order to unlock this quest, you must progress through the main story for a bit. Once it becomes available, you will meet an NPC Mildred, a lady with an offer too good to be true: you should keep an eye on her house for a week, and after this period is done, she will offer you a deal to sell you a house for a bargain. If you do not have the money required for this transaction, you should consider getting it as soon as possible because her offer will not last for long.
Once you complete the purchase, you will be able to rest inside the house whenever you need, and you will also be able to manage your inventory by storing unnecessary items inside the chest. Later in the game, you will have the opportunity to buy more real estate, but this one is by far the most affordable one.
