Patch update 1.04 for Jump Force has been announced on the game's official Twitter profile. The update consists of overall stability improvements, character adjustments, and a variety of brand new items for custom made characters.

After releasing patch 1.03 which improved the game's loading times, Bandai Namco have announced the next update for Jump Force via the game's Japanese Twitter profile.

According to the patch notes on the game's official website, patch 1.04 will introduce improvements to the game's overall stability, and a bunch of other adjustments for certain characters. For example, DIO and his Checkmate move will be one of the fighters who's going to be nerfed by this update.

Apart from this, the update will bring 27 new avatar items that will be available for purchase at any of the shop counters in the game. As we know, Jump Force offers a variety of customization items that can be purchased using the in-game currency, so having more to choose from is always welcome.

However, even though the new patch will be bringing a variety of improvements and new items for players, the one thing fans were hoping to see is evidently still not on the way. We're talking of course about the rematch option - something that should have been included in the game from day one.

After all, Jump Force is a fighting game, one that's heavily dependent on its online play, and not having a rematch button for ranked or friendly online matches is a major pain indeed. Add to this the fact that the game's loading times are still far from brilliant, and you'll soon find that only the most patient of gamers will keep playing this game.

But not all hope is lost yet, as underneath the patch notes on the game's website, there is a statement that says that the game will be receiving future updates that will further improve the game's loading times and the overall battle experience, as well as improved online and offline lobby functions.

Essentially, Bandai Namco are letting their fans know that they are indeed listening to their feedback, so we will take their word for it, because, to be fair, they have delivered on all the promised updates so far. We just hope that something as crucial as the online rematch feature does not come a tad too late.

While no official release date for patch 1.04 has been given yet, we expect to see it implemented as early as this week.
