It seems like Epic are a bit undecided as to Thanos' place in the world of Fortnite: Battle Royale, as the company once again tweaked his stats. It seems that the devs are trying to make him easier to kill, while buffing his other stats.

Epic apparently want to "allow more folks to truly experience the power of Thanos", without sacrificing his damage output. Of course, they already sacrificed it in their last tinkering session but never mind - let's dig into the changes.

Thanos' punch damage is up from 80 to 100 and his beam now deals 20 damage, up from earlier 12. You may recall the beam initially dealing 15 damage so Epic seem strangely indecisive here. Nevertheless, at least Fortnite's development team has a clearer idea on what they're trying to do with Thanos in the first place.

The big man's health, however, has been decreased from 800 to 500, which is a pretty hefty nerf. Epic's earlier tweaking of Fortnite's Thanos upped his health from 700 to 800 but it seems like it isn't working out the way company would've liked.

Epic also threw in a few tweaks on Fortnite's Infinity Gauntlet LTM itself, like making the bus fly a bit lower. To be fair, it does seem like a clever way to go around the stricter time constraints. The circle is a bit bigger too and the first three stormsnow inflict 1/2.5/5 per cent damage, instead of the earlier 5/5/10 per cent.

Initial Gauntlet spawn time has been tweaked 120-135s from the bus ride, compared to earlier 30-45s. Fortniters who have a go at the mode will no longer have Bandages and Slurp Juice spawns, while Med Kits, Chug Jugs and Big Shields spawning has been increased. Floor loot will also correctly spawn items in terms of rarity.

Thanos' arrived to Fortnite with a figurative and literal bang and Epic are obviously still trying to fit him in properly. Interestingly, many players are calling for Epic to make Thanos really superhuman, so as to ensure everyone is forced to fight him, but we do see the company's reasoning.
