Brütal Legend free for a limited time

Brütal Legend is free for now over at Humble Bundle. Double Fine's action game with RTS elements was released in 2009. The game features 107 heavy metal tracks from 75 different bands.

Destiny 2 - Curse of Osiris

Curse of Osiris will bring shortened Raid encounters known as Raid Lairs. The rewards include new guns, armour, and cosmetics. The DLC will add a new mission, lost sectors, chests, and public events to Mercury.

Destiny 2's Faction Rally has a new champion

Destiny 2's weekly reset will bring a slew of new Milestones. The second Faction Rally was won by New Monarchy. The first Clarion Call for Destiny 2 will be live all weekend long, starting on 17 November.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War Xbox One X ready

Warner Bros. just released an Xbox One X update for Middle-earth: Shadow of War. The update will let you choose between two enhanced modes that Shadow of War offers for the console.

Monster Hunter World - Aloy's bow and armour

Monster Hunter World beta is scheduled to start on 09 December. PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to access the beta. A Horizon Zero Dawn event quest will arrive some time after launch.

Why Destiny 2 is a lazy step to nowhere

I have been umming and ahhing over writing this at all for number of reasons. I don't enjoy bashing away at the effort put in by so many people at Bungie, and of course there are plenty of people that absolutely enjoy what has been put in front of them, in the form of Destiny 2. However, it's fair to say that I am more than just slightly irked by it. I do still play it, so this may come across as a little hypocritical, but the flaws are real whether we ignore them or not.

World of Tanks Halloween event

World of Tanks Halloween event for PC and console available from 27 October until 02 November. The event will bring the ghoulish tank Leviathan to the PC and zombie tanks to the console version of the game. The event will have both PvE and PvP modes.

Outcast - Second Contact out in November

Bigben and the studio Appeal will release Outcast - Second Contact on 14 November for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game is a remake of the cult classic - Outcast. Outcast - Second Contact will be available for PC via Steam.

Destiny 2: Prestige Raid sans an exploit fix

Prestige Raids will launch next week, regardless of the newly discovered exploit. A permanent fix is being worked on, but in the meantime, Bungie came up with "a way to verify a clean finish". The current plan is to deploy the safe fix as part of a future update.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War's Denuvo cracked

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War's Denuvo software was cracked in less than 24 hours. At the end of September Total War: Warhammer 2 was cracked in only eight hours. Players have found that certain games performed worse due to the inclusion of Denuvo, as was the case with recent releases like Sonic Mania.

ME: Andromeda free on Origin and EA Access

EA announced that Mass Effect: Andromeda will be available via Origin and EA Access. Subscribers on PC and Xbox One will be getting a game that has been slightly improved by the post-release updates. Xbox One owners will have two additional perks.

Assassin’s Creed Origins

Assassin’s Creed Origins post-launch content will include the season pass and free add-on content that'll be available to all players. The season pass is included in the Assassin’s Creed Origins Gold Edition and available for purchase separately. The free content will be available for all players.

Far Cry 5 - to be scored by Dan Romer

Far Cry 5 will feature some original music by Dan Romer. Mr Romer used many Americana instruments to convey the feel of the fictional Hope County, Montana. The soundtrack will be available colse to the game's release.

EVE: Valkyrie - Warzone

EVE: Valkyrie - Warzone is now out for PlayStation 4 and PC. The game can be played with or without a VR headset. EVE: Valkyrie - Warzone includes all the content and improvements released for EVE: Valkyrie since launch. New ships, maps and loot capsules are also available.

Dynasty Warriors 9

Dynasty Warriors 9 got a new trailer. The new trailer touches on the game's narrative, characters and the brand-new State Combo system. Dynasty Warriors 9 will be released in early 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon will launch in October on Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC. A new trailer has been shared, detailing the game's story. In-game environments can be used as a weapon.

Destiny 2 will become available worldwide at 12 am on 06 September. PC users will be able to get their hands on the game come 24 October. The game has had "the biggest Beta in Bungie and Activision Publishing history".
