We now have semi-official confirmation that the next Assassin's Creed game will be set in Egypt and carry the title 'Origins'. Boats, shields, Egypt and crocodiles are so far the only things certain about the next series entry after its year long break.

Mount and Blade: Warband became an esport while nobody was looking?

The Battle of Bucharest has been announced as the first ever live Mount & Blade eSports tournament. Organised by TaleWorlds Entertainment and the Lithuanian Esports Federation, the event is taking place on 20 May 2017.

Destiny 2 will have some features "that are bespoke to the PC community". Additionally, the game will have at least two expansions in its first year, and Bungie is flirting with the idea of free seasonal events.

No Matter, an indie studio developing a project called Prey for the Gods encountered some issues when they tried to trademark that name. Subsequently, they changed the name of the project at the behest of ZeniMax, who own the trademark for the name "Prey".

Guerrilla Games will soon be releasing a new patch for Horizon Zero Dawn. In addition to the usual progression and technical issues getting a fix, the photo mode will receive a couple of tweaks and some new features.

The first DLC for the action RPG Nioh is coming in May. The DLC will bring new armour, weapons, and a new Guardian Spirit.

Prey: minimum specs revealed

Bethesda's Prey is coming out on 05 May and they have just shared the minimum and the recommended specs for the PC crowd. A one hour demo of the game is also available today for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners.

Rocksteady is bringing Batman: Arkham VR to HTC Vive and Oculus Rift on 25 April. Also, HTC is celebrating "Vive day" and launching some new features this coming Wednesday.

Bayonetta is now playable on PC, 7 years after its release on consoles for European and US markets. 4k, 60fps, Steam - sounds like a real PC release.

Andromeda Denuvo update

Latest Mass Effect: Andromeda patch made the game somewhat more playable, and applied the latest version of Denuvo. This means that the pirates who downloaded the cracked game will be unable to play the updated version.

Mass Effect: Andromeda Denuvo/Origin defeated in under two weeks

Mass Effect: Andromeda's Denuvo/Origin protection has been breached 13 days after its release. The copy-protection software kept the game uncrackable over twice as long as it did for Resident Evil 7, but where there is RAM/rum - there is a way.

A server-side update was released today, patching the final DLC pack for Dark Souls 3. The small update includes some Angel and infusions balancing. Meta weapons have also been nerfed.
