Diablo 3's 'Darkening of Tristram' is back

Blizzard will celebrate Diablo III's 21st anniversary with a new Darkening of Tristram event. The event will bring unique transmogrification effects, achievements, portraits, pets, and more. Darkening of Tristram will start on 01 January.

Red Dead Redemption 2 release date leaked

Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2 might be coming in early June. A Danish retailer that had previously leaked a correct release date for GTA V listed the upcoming game on their website. Red Dead Redemption 2 is still available for pre-order at the time of writing.

Star Trek: Bridge Crew got a non-VR option

Ubisoft and Red Storm have removed the VR requirement from their Star Trek: Bridge Crew. The game is now playable on PlayStation 4 and PC without a VR headset. Cross-play between VR and non-VR users is enabled.

Festive Surprise 2017 Event is in full swing. The event brought some new cars and some fresh gear into the mix. An Albany Hermes Muscle Car and some additional gifts will be waiting for all players who log on on Christmas Day.

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus ported

Bethesda's Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will get a Switch port in early 2018. The team chosen for the job is the same team that previously ported Doom. Panic Button previously worked on porting Rocket League and Octodad: Dadliest Catch.

A new Zelda title already in development

Breath of the Wild is getting a baby brother. The new Zelda title is in active development, and the news was confirmed by the series' producer Eiji Aonuma in the new Breath of the Wild artbook. The book is only available in Japan.

The Witcher 3 joins Xbox One X enhanced titles

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now enhanced for Xbox One X and the patch brought two new visual modes with it. An additional update for PlayStation 4 Pro users will drop in the near future.

Cuphead, a charming little retro platform game has finally hit the App Store at an unbelievable price of only £4.99/$4.99 but there’s a single catch - it’s fake and you probably threw your cash away. Not that we’re happy, mind you, we just thought you should know.

Destiny 2: The Dawning is now live

Destiny 2's traditional holiday event is now live across all platforms. The event brought back the Mayhem matches, new decorations and fresh items. The Dawning will also let you craft gifts for other players.

Metal Gear Survive beta for consoles

Konami announced that Metal Gear Survive will have a beta in January. The beta will be available to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players. Everyone who takes part in the beta will receive three bonus items.

RDR 2 scavenger hunt

GTA Online's Doomsday Heist DLC brought more surprises than we initially thought. Team Guru discovered a Red Dead Redemption 2 themed treasure hunt within the update's code. The end of the hunt might finally reveal the name of the poor soul that lies in the unmarked grave in GTA V.

Okami HD out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One

Capcom's stunning action adventure game - Okami just got an HD edition. Okami HD, is now available for PC, PlayStation and Xbox One. Players will be able to choose between playing in a modern widescreen format or the original release’s 4:3 ratio.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag goes free

Second half of 2017 has brought so many freebies it’s getting a bit difficult to keep track and now Ubisoft decided to follow suit and is giving away free copies of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. The company has also published a documentary called ‘Into the Creed’, showing how the game managed to change a few lives along the way and you can view it above.
