We've got some fresh news for geese enthusiasts, be they Canada geese or regular, non-lethal ones - developer House House will be launching Untitled Goose Game on 20 September 2019 for Nintendo Switch, and PC and Mac via Epic Games Store.
House House announced the news via Twitter, where they revealed that it's finally time to launch Untitled Goose Game after years of work on the mischievous critter.
"After almost three years of development, it's surreal to think we're so close to releasing our Untitled Goose Game, and we're so excited to share it with you. Thank you for your patience, and for helping us spread the good news about the bad goose", they wrote.
House House said that Untitled Goose Game will be playable in eleven languages. No, geese don't have languages, at least not that we're aware of, and this likely refers to menus and options, as the game itself doesn't really require knowing a language - just some love for all things devious.
Untitled Goose Game will eventually cost $19.99, but the developer announced a special limited-time launch sale price of $14.99. We're not sure whether this is courtesy of Epic's compensation for the exclusivity deal or the dev's generosity, but we'll take it.
In case you're not familiar with the game, get ready to be blown away by Untitled Goose Game and its protagonist, whose sole purpose is to make life more difficult for everyone else.
In fact, that's the main premise of House House's stealth game, and Untitled Goose Game players will be facing a series of challenges, where the goal is to pester, annoy, and occasionally even make people hurt themselves.
The goose can honk, flap its wings and grab items, but the scenarios Untitled Goose Game puts in front of you make that a potent arsenal of skills.
Excitement over Untitled Goose Game seems to be pretty high, and many fans are interested in buying a physical edition of the game, but PC players who insist on Steam or Itchio will have to wait a bit longer.
