The Expanse is coming closer to the release date and the game is now getting more promotional material to showcase.
Telltale Games released a video featuring gameplay footage from the first episode of The Expanse which is full of intrigue but doesn't actually spoil the plot, which is more than can be said for most modern trailers.
Episode 1 of The Expanse is coming to PC via Epic Games Store, PlayStation and Xbox platforms on July 27, 2023.
The following episodes will be released in two-week intervals after that, apparently to give players the option to explore other choices in the meantime.
Pre-orders have started for Standard and Deluxe Editions, with the former bearing the price tag of $40 and the latter $45.
If you are looking for incentive to pre-order a digital good, a carrot will be dangled in the form of 24-hour early access for each new episode while the Deluxe Edition holders will receive DLC which will be revealed at a later date.
Unfortunately for Xbox players, the 24-hour early access will be available only on PC and PlayStation. Then again, it is not much of a difference and if you waited this long, another 24 hours is not a disaster.
This is the first new IP Telltale worked on since the studio's reformation in 2019 and chronologically, these adventures of Camina Drummer will take place before the events of the acclaimed TV show.
