It looks like Tales from the Borderlands is returning in Redux version according to the latest leak on Reddit, which reveals two parts of the trailer. A bonus mini-episode, commentary, a codex and concept art are being mentioned along with other content.
Not a lot has been said about Tales from the Borderlands ever since Telltale Games returned back in August 2019. Back then, Borderlands 3 writer Sam Winkler briefly mentioned that he would love to bring back the spin-off with new stories and content for the fans of the game.
And by the looks of it, Gearbox and Telltale could team up once again to bring a Redux version of Tales from the Borderlands. Over at Reddit, a new leak appeared, revealing the trailer for Tales from the Borderlands Redux.
The trailer looks pretty legit and it showcases some of the fresh stuff that players will get to experience once the Redux version releases. Of course, you should not expect a lot of change but there are a new codex and concept art, new mini-episode and commentary. Check it all out here .
On top of this, the trailer also potentially teases a full sequel, which makes a lot of sense if Redux version is getting released. It could serve as a proper hype-machine for the sequel but we should wait for more information before jumping to conclusions.
The trailer reveals that Tales from the Borderlands Redux will release sometime in 2020. All in all, it is safe to say that everything in the trailer looks pretty convincing but you should take it with a grain of salt, just like any other rumour, leak or unconfirmed info.
