Starfield reviews are officially live ahead of the game's launch on September 1, 2023. The majority of reviews agree that Bethesda's first IP in 25 years is one of the greatest games of all time, a strong contender for the game of the generation and the favourite for the game of the year 2023.
At the time of writing this article, Starfield's score on Metacritic was 89 out of 100, which is certainly a magnificent score for this long-awaited RPG. On OpenCritic, Starfield has a 91 per cent recommendation from the critics and a score of 86 out of 100.
The reviewers are pretty much praising every single aspect of the game, from the story to exploration and surprisingly stunning visuals for a Bethesda game. Below, we've made a list of some of the reviews along with the scores, if you want to check them out.

Starfield officially launches on September 1, 2023, at 02:00 AM CET, for those who have early access. The standard edition owners can play the game on September 6, 2023. The game is available on PC and Xbox Series X|S.
